Persoanele care practica yoga, au un aspect facial si corporal mai agreabil datorita energiei pe care o emana.                         Kundalini, în termenii psihologiei, este cea care ne inspiră aventurile esenţiale ale vieţii. Este căutarea care face viaţa suportabilă; este impulsul divin.

    <p>Kundalini este forta impactanta a Sinelui nostru care se afla "incolacit" la baza coloanei vertebrale, loc numita "mooladhara chakra" ("radacina"). Aceasta forta, cand se trezeste, ascensioneaza prin canalul "sushumna", suportul energetic al coloanei vertebrale.

O trezire echilibrate a energiei Kundalini poate conduce catre dobandirea siddhi (puteri), constiinta extinsa, claritate si marcheaza inceputul parcursului real spre iluminare spirituala. 

Sindromul fizio-kundalini desemneaza o tulburare psihiatrica consemnata in DSM-IV ca o “trezire necontrolata a lui Kundalini”care poate aparea in cazul persoanelor nepregatite pentru a cuprinde cu infrastructura corpului mental si fizic o astfel de energie. Cu toate acestea, exista metode concrete de echilibrare, insa aceasta problema a dereglarii lui Kundalini nu vizeaza persoanele cu practica autentica si cu aspiratie inalta.
